Where venues are in Region IX, and getting there
The Region IX office is in the D&J Building on Benigno Aquino Street corner Antonio Salazar Street in the San Jose district of Pagadian City, the regional center. Zamboanga City, the region's largest city, is several hours away by road at the tip of the peninsula, and Dipolog on the northern coast is a similar distance in the other direction.
NAPOLCOM doesn't publish a fixed list of Region IX venues — testing sites are named in each examination announcement and can change between sittings depending on capacity and the schools available, and the exact venue and room are on each applicant's Notice of Admission. When you register online you choose this regional office; NAPOLCOM then assigns your specific site, which may not be the city nearest your home. Your notice is the only authoritative source, so check it the moment it's issued.

Zamboanga City produces the most applicants but the regional office is in Pagadian, so most applicants travel for processing. Zamboanga City has hosted its own testing center in larger examinations.
